In 2021, when sustainability became a top priority, I led the development of a user-centered sustainability point of view (POV) influencing Google Maps Transportation's 2022 planning, and furthering Google's s12y goals by making sustainable transportation choices more accessible to millions of users. Additionally, I ensured seamless integration of Eco-routing, a major sustainability feature, into the new Directions framework, mitigating the risk of PR escalations for greenwashing and protecting Google's reputation.
